easy to order, arrived quickly, reasonably priced. Easy to make however the flavour was not great, less oat milk and more powdered milk. I was so excited for this product but sorry but it fell short.

It’s made of cheap, light plastic that leaks

Oh no if it leaks it may mean the seal has fallen out - this has happened a few times and we will send out a replacement to fix it! That will make it much easier to mix :) We went for a plastic bottle for a few reasons (and it is actually Tritan renew with 50%recycled material). The first bottle we had in glass was just too heavy to shake up the milk vigorously - in fact it was dangerous, so we knew we had to look at different materials. And as we were doing this we found out that although glass is thought of as sustainable as it goes in the curbside recycling bin, it actually has the highest energy usage to produce, and uses so much more fuel to transport due to its weight, and its overall environmental impact is 5+ times higher than plastic! Even recycled glass requires a really high energy usage :( When compared to plastic with recycled content (like our bottle), we can save up to 90% of emissions compared to glass usage. It is such a difficult process to decide which materials to use, but we are committed to using the lowest impact materials even if plastic has a bad reputation, as our whole company is built on reducing emissions and waste with no greenwashing. I hope that helps explain it more, and once we send over the seal, hopefully it will become a useful companion to help shake up Nimbus :)

Undeniable investment
This bottle is awesome. I couldn’t have ever imagined having a genuine opinion on such a thing, but here we are… The fill lines indicate how many scoops of powder to the level of water (excellent- minimal thinking for me!); its narrow so fits in the fridge perfectly (including the caravan fridge!) and, fits well in my hand for shaking. I found putting a couple of those little spring-balls that come in protein shaker bottles made for perfectly smooth milk. The ONLY thing I’d love to see is different coloured caps to differentiate between milks. But I just wrapped tape around so the whole fam can tell the difference. I sat on the fence about buying the bottle (seemed so unnecessary) but I ended up buying a second one - they’re the ducks nuts. 10/10. Would and do recommend. Chef’s kiss.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write this - it totally made our day and you are thinking so much like us as we also want coloured caps to make it easier to tell which milk is milk!! Hopefully it will become a reality at some point :)

We have a video on this as an FAQ :) Single use cartons do have the benefit of being totally sterile every time, so a reusable bottle does need a bit more work, but I got used to it pretty quickly :( We recommend a long handled bottle brush (mine is from Ikea), and for a deep clean now and the, add some lemon juice and bicarb soda, leave overnight and ta-da! I have three bottles as the oat milk is so good.
I have three of these bottles as we go through the oat milk so quickly and want to ensure we have a fresh bottle to make up the next 1 litre.

Very good quality. Love that it has measurements so I can make up the quantity of oat milk I require rather than a whole jar everytime.
