This one is my favourite out of all of the milks!

I have been buying milk from Nimbus for quite a few years now. Ive made the switch to the Oat barista milk over the standard oat and soy and this one is my favourite. It doesn't froth like premade oat milk in a bottle, but a small sacrifice to make for a smarter environmental option!

Tastes better then I thought

The milk was actually easy to make and easy to keep in the cupboard at home and work. Now I have a stash in my campa van . Very happy

Works for me

I have discovered that stirring in 1 heaped tsp of Barista Oat Milk powder straight into my coffee gives a creamy rich flavour to my coffee whilst not cooling it too much. It also means I don't have to keep tabs on how old the milk is.

I just love this Oat Barista, I can make it up whenever I need milk. No waking up in the morning, and then realising, I have no carton of plant milk in the house. It works perfectly with both tea and coffee.

Thrilled to reduce waste (but the taste will take some getting used to)!

I have been struggling to reconcile my desire to reduce waste with the 2-3 tetra packs of oat milk I go through a week, so I was very very hopeful about Nimbus and am very impressed by what the company is doing! I unfortunately haven't fallen in love with it yet after going through a few litres, but I will definitely repurchase for ethos alone and keep trialing. The texture is beautifully (if a little unsettlingly) smooth, and the milk is very sweet - with a very particular flavor that doesn't taste like other oat milks I've tried (it reminds me of brown sugar sago and/or artificial strawberry?). The taste is mild but somehow manages to overpower coffee or tea, and tea needs more milk to make it 'milky' than with other oat milks. It is very nice in cereal, though! The milk froths much better in my espresso machine than I anticipated, but the froth separates somewhat from the rest of the milk so it isn't quite smooth (and limits any latte art). There might be a frothing learning curve though so I'll keep at it. I hope I'll get used to the flavor with time - much like with any change in milk. Ultimately, this is all a price I'm willing to pay for the environmental impact and saving hundreds of packs a year. I would love a less-sweet option, though! (Also: my bottle was damaged in transit and I didn't realise until I have already used it and it started leaking - I was expecting there wasn't much that would be done about it as I had no evidence it wasn't damaged by me, but they sent a new one to me super quickly which I appreciated a lot.)

What I want, how I want, when I want it.

I know we all need to move towards a plant based diet. I drink very little milk and liked the taste of oat milk so I thought I would start there. But then I realised that the tetra packs the oat milk came in were not recyclable. Nimbus has solved this problem. I make the amount I want to drink and no more and there is no waste and no recycling problem. It also means I can make more milk at anytime of day or night without leaving the house! It’s w in win situation. Thank you Nimbus.
