Only purchased to get over the free shipping threshold, looks like a seal.
It may be useful to extend the life of your bottle - seals in lids wear out and with this, instead of having to throw out the bottle, you can give it a new lease of life:)

Me being a bit slack with removing and cleaning the seals between litres of milk, meant that I needed a new seal for the lid of my bottle. Easy done! No need to waste an entire bottle, just grabbed a new seal. 😊

Handy to have when the seal gets lost in the dishwasher

Great to replace something small so easily

Handy to have a seal just in case and keeps the existing bottle going instead of replacing it. Well done!
