Coffee is personal. A short, strong cup, a long milky one, or something cold over ice. Getting comfortable with your milk is part of finding the cup you look forward to.
Let your milk settle in
Mix your Nimbus milk using the pouch directions. A 5–10 minute rest gives the powder time to rehydrate; leaving it in the fridge overnight is another option in Nimbus’s mixing guide.
Shake again before you pour. A little natural separation can happen while the milk rests.
For the hot-coffee people
Nimbus Oat Barista is the richer oat blend, designed with frothing and coffee in mind. If you are using a frother, follow its directions and leave room for the milk to expand.
Nimbus’s FAQs suggest warming prepared milk before adding it to a hot drink to help reduce separation. Every coffee and frother behaves a little differently, so use your usual cup as a starting point and adjust one thing at a time.
For the iced-coffee people
Try the original Nimbus iced coffee: whisk two espresso shots with half to one tablespoon of brown sugar until foamy, add ice, then top with prepared oat milk and stir.
The milk and ice quantities are up to your glass and taste. The full recipe includes the original Nimbus video, so you can follow the pour.
